Windows Phone 7 Firestarter event in Birmingham Aug 26.

Hey guys if you have not heard by now. We are putting together a Windows Phone 7 event here on Aug 26. We will be hosting a Firestarter event at the Highland Conference center from 9-4 with a development garage following from 6-9 at New Horizons.

Birmingham Windows Phone 7 Workshops

Microsoft and Silverlight Nights are putting together a Windows Phone 7 development conference in Birmingham on Aug 26.

Glen Gordon and Joe Healy from Microsoft will be presenting on Windows Phone 7. We will have two session the daytime session is a chance to learn about Phone 7 development tools and techniques. The evening session will be a hands one workshop. The day session will be from 9-4 at Highland Conference Center and evening session at New Horizons from 6-9. If you are or know anyone that would be interested in attending please have them go to the following eventbrite links to register.

Joint user group meeting

Our next meeting meeting will not be our normal first thursday of the month. Instead we are combining with a BUG.NET and possibly a couple of other user groups on Thursday June 17 at New Horizon. Walt Ritscher will be speaking. At this moment I do not have the exact topic that will be cover but I will post it as soon as I get it.
